Temperature relief valve
Approved Document G, Sanitation, hot water safety and water efficiency, 2015 edition with 2016 amendments, defines a temperature relief valve as: ‘…a mechanically operated valve that opens to discharge water when a fixed (factory set) temperature is exceeded.’
